Greetings to all! My name is James and I am a good friend of Knightly's...

*ducks*

Hey, he's not that bad. Really...

Anyway, I signed up here in hopes of helping out with the software side of things, but figured it would be bad form if I didn't introduce myself and get to know people around here.

I'm sure you've all heard about/seen parts of Knightly's project "Average Joe". Well, I am the one who wrote the script for that lovely piece of movie magic. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

So here I am. Glad to be here, hope I fit in okay.

Awesome! :w00t:

Welcome aboard!

I heard you're a PHPBB guru of sorts. Is that right?

Well, I wouldn't call myself a guru by any means, but I am rather experienced in most things phpBB, belonging to several different phpBB Development and Support teams, so I know my way around fairly well. Iff'n y'all need any help, feel free to let me know!

Nope, phpBB is my forte, as it were. Currently trying to do a complete DB makeover and phpBB reinstall for another client. Their old board had over 100 modifications, I'm scaling it back to just 2. The original database backup file was 30 MB in size, and that's just a plain text file. It was massive.

So no, all I know is phpBB.

Y'all have some kickass smilie packs rockin' this place.
