I know there's been some lurking while Liza was away...
we probably should've all worked together on something during that time but we didn't.

So...
now that she's back...
let's all announce ourselves and/or reintroduce if need be.

I'm LWAddict, FX and VFX artist.

Ready to help get this party started!

Hang in there,

LWAddict

I'm CootDog,
I'm a business man and filmmaker. I have had the great priviledge to actually work with Liza on a film project and have visited her since then too.
I like starting businesses, websites, and doing VFX. Although lately, I've been doing business stuff and not much filmmaking.

I'm Vanessa, live in south Florida too (Palm Beach County), am a veterinarian by profession but in my occasional moment of free time am interested in acting, filmmaking, and screenwriting.

I got to meet Liza and Cootdog about a year ago, right before Wilma the Destroyer of Studios. Coot was going to be putting together a submission for a film contest though indietalk.com, to be filmed at Liza's, and put up a notice for actors wanted on Craigslist.

Now, I hang out with Liza at the new place sometimes and see if there is anything I can learn and if possible, see if I can help.

I'm Cole, I live in Dead center, MN. I'm a filmmaker and professional geek. I'm a certified apple repair technician and a unix geek as well (to some extent). I do know PHP well enough to figure out the board stuff, but have no access to it. Last year before all the weather stuff happened, Liza made me a moderator here, so I'm the guy that can correct post problems and double postings etc. I've been cleaning up lots of spam in Liza's absence, keeping the nest clean as it were.

I've recently completed production on a feature and am editing the beast (67ish hours of footage). I'm about 50% through the assembly edit at 45 minutes of show, so it should tighten up to about a 60-90 minute production.

I come here for inspiration...I have many other boards I visit, which I post for other reasons, but you could say this site is my muse! :) The DIY attitude inspired me to look at the professional tools and figure out how to make them cheaper at home.

Ok, short and simple:

I'm Western Flame, and I compose music for soundtracks. I work primarily with the orchestra, though I do like to bring in big drums, ethnic instruments, and choirs when opportunities present themselves.

And of course, I'm here to help whenever I can. 8)
