Hi...I'm just new to this site and I'd like to introduce myself. :)
My names jojie, im from sweden and im 22 years old. I'm currently on my first term at the International Academy of Film and Television (IAFT) . I initially took journalism in college but got frustrated with sitting in class doing exercises after exercises. I wanted to create something tangible and substantial. One Google search let me to IAFT and the rest is history. Now im in the process of editing my own film. A film that I wrote, I directed, and produced. I'd like to meet people in this forum who share the same passion for filmmaking as me. It would be great to share ideas and discuss about anything and everything.

Just an FYI, found this same exact post on some other sites. Looks like this one may be an ad for the school.

There has been so many topics posted like this that have links to this film school. It's always first poster, and generally the same sort of story. Also they've been replying to other film school topics with the same sort of deal. Have you not noticed this?

link still looks legit to me...they even have a well produced advert on youtube for the school.

These folks are just agressively marketing...isn't that what coot does? ;)

Doesn't seem to be a harmful site and it's pertinent to what we do here.

Yes, this a great way to market online.

However, I have also introduced myself on tons of forums when I was new. So it's not uncommon to just copy/paste the same thing so you don't have to keep typing over and over.

Think of all the sites you frequent in a month... 20? 50? 100?

would you want to type the same thing over and over? I wouldn't.

I personally have tools that auto fill my info in so I don't have to copy/paste at all. It sure makes like easier and less time consuming!

Yeah, that's fine, but why change your name for each one?

Here's the info for that IP address for you Liza, Looks as though it's an address to a customer of "Kwiklink" in the Phillipines (think comcast, but on a small island nation).

Most of the time, the customer is unaware their computer is being used for nefarious purposes. The contacts will be company representatives of Kwiklink.

As they are in the phillipines, they may not have to honor any contracts depending on their local laws. Bill away, see what happens:
